No matter what we've done, or what jeans we buy, she has them. I'm going to try seeing if she'll tuck it in. Yes, folks, it is possible to be both awesome and like pink glittery shoes. Parenting, you're doing it right likeagirl. But I do believe we've made huge strides with our kids.
I haven't seen a backwards hat since the 80's. Ride that pink 4-wheeler, girl! We tuck shirts in sometimes, she's good about re-tucking them in when she goes to the bathroom and such. I wholeheartedly agree and salute you all. My child is that kid that has the notorious butt crack. That girl clearly did mud riding, not road riding.
I'm thinkin you're probably a self loathing homosexual. Just let your dad know you chug sausage…he'll get over it soon and you'll eventually carve the turkey on a future family gathering. Should come with a tissue warning, though. It had to be one or the other. I also got comments from moms with boys who are awesome at things that are stereotypically girl things and moms who pointed out that pursuing stereotypically girl things can be kickass too. How do you even come up with the backwards hat thing and gay activities? I have a problem with picture 25. I thought the best way to honor your daughters was to post a few of them here.
It makes me so happy and a little jealous! You know, besides all the medals, awards, accolades, etc. . She's starts Kindergarten in the fall, at a new school with all new people, I don't want her to be worried about her little butt showing. Elastic waist band, adjustable waist band, belts, etc. So many people emailed and messaged me yesterday about how inspiring they all were to see together.
I know there is a lot of work still to go to achieve gender equality. Over 300 people posted photos and looking through all the little girls and young women doing kickass things, made me cry just as much as the original video. I love the message so much, I asked everyone to post pictures of their daughters acting likeagirl. . .
